CAN 5G SIGNALS IN YOUR HOME REALLY MAKE YOU SEE TALKING ANIMALS?

Vodafone wanted people to get excited about 5G.

The problem was, everyone was talking about speed, bandwidth and driverless cars. It all felt a bit... 2032.

The real opportunity was much closer to home.

Everyone wants to feel more connected. So instead of talking about faster downloads, I helped imagine a different kind of connection: holographic bedtime stories.

Using 5G's low latency and increased bandwidth, I brought grandparents and grandchildren together for a reading of The Three Little Pigs that felt like they were in the same room, despite living miles apart.

It was a much more human way of showing what the technology could actually do.

Fun fact: when the little boy shouts, "Grandpa!", that's the first word he ever spoke. Completely unplanned, and probably the best review the campaign could've asked for.
